Casa Maya is a peaceful and light-filled home surrounded by lush jungle and birdlife. It’s one of the most secluded homes in the development without immediate neighbors, yet still just a five-minute walk to the private beach and beach club. The home features two master suites – one inside the main house and one as an attached casita with kitchenette and private entrance, perfect for two to three couples or a family with a separate space for grandparents or older kids. The backyard has a spa-like atmosphere with a brand-new pool and lounge area, large, covered patio, BBQ and firepit. The home is also mobility-friendly with no stairs, safety bars in all showers and master bathtub and all on one-level.

Casa Maya is absolutely gorgeous and so worth a visit. The house, property and staff exceeded my expectations. The home is beautifully designed with plenty of space - our party size was 2 families and we fit very comfortably. The house is part of a gated community and even though I felt safe in the city of Chacala, if you are someone worried about safety you are well taken care of in the gated living area. Everything is within walking distance - a private beach and the public beach, pool, restaurants, corner stores, hiking, sunset point, and surfing. Chacala is a relaxed beach town, so if you are looking for an off the beaten path vacation, away from crowds with gorgeous scenery this place is for you. Brian was very helpful with any questions we had prior to our trip and once at the destination, Javier the house manager was there for any question or request we had. I will definitely go back in the future.
